You're looking at the demo. This page is hand-built and static — no page-builder, no bloat. Run Lighthouse on it yourself. That speed is the whole pitch.

The problem you might already have

A slow, templated site quietly costs you customers.

Most small-business websites are built on page-builders that load slowly, look like everyone else's, and are hard to change. Visitors leave before the page loads, Google ranks the slow ones lower, and you're renting a site you never really own. — the pattern behind most "our website isn't working" calls

The fix isn't another template. It's a site engineered for your business: fast, built to convert visitors into enquiries and sales, and simple for you to run. That's all I do.

How it works

Built around your business — not a theme you bend to fit.

We map what it needs to do

Enquiries, bookings, online sales — we get clear on the one or two things the site actually has to achieve for you.

02

I build it custom & fast

Hand-coded, mobile-first, with SEO, analytics and speed built in from the start — and you see it come together the whole way.

03

You launch and own it

Code, hosting, domain and data all in your name. Easy to update, and I'm here when you want changes — no lock-in.

Live client site

Who's behind it

One developer, hands-on — you work with me, not an account manager.

I'm Daniel Olliver, an Auckland software developer. I build production systems for a living — including a patient-assessment platform for a UK healthcare provider, software with real stakes — and I bring that same engineering standard to business websites and online stores. No offshore team, no page-builder shortcuts: you deal with the person writing the code. Everything I claim is verifiable — this page is live proof of the speed, and my wider work is public at danielolliver.com/dev and linkedin.com/in/danielolliver.

The questions I actually get asked

Straight answers.

What does it cost?

Most small-business sites land between $3,000 and $12,000, and custom online stores from around $8,000, depending on scope. You get a fixed quote up front — never an open-ended hourly bill.

Do I own it when it's done?

Completely. Code, hosting, domain and analytics are all in your accounts, in your name. No lock-in to a builder you keep paying for, nothing held hostage.

How long does it take?

A typical small-business site is 2–4 weeks from kickoff; a custom store 4–8 weeks. You see it in progress the whole way, not just at the end.

Why not just use Wix or a template?

Templates are quick but slow, generic, and cost you sales and rankings. A hand-built site loads in a fraction of the time and does exactly what your business needs. That speed is measurable — run Lighthouse on this page.

Will it rank on Google?

SEO is built in from line one — fast clean code, proper structure, sitemaps, structured data, analytics. Ranking also depends on your market, so I'll tell you honestly what SEO can and can't do rather than promise page one.

Can you add AI features?

Yes — I build production AI systems too: support chatbots trained on your content, smart search, automated product copy. Optional, and only where it earns its place.
